Spring Rains Radio
Ahhhh, the humidity has finally given way to some gentle rain. It’s such a beautiful spring. My flowers continue to go full tilt in unleashing their color and fragrance.
These beautiful months also mean the start of traveling and busy times that leads to some switching in the show weeks as you may have noticed. I keep a little calendar updated on the Facebook page, but here’s the tentative dates for the show in the next couple months in case you’re interested: June 4th (today!), June 18th, July 9th, and July 23rd.
Come join us and listen to some music 7 to 9 pm, streaming on the web here or on the dial at 88.1/90.7/91.5 FM KZYX&Z.

So as you can see above, I was doing some setlist entry into a site called Spintron for station royalty purposes. Thought I’d use the export feature and see how it did – not too bad! I played around with the notes section – it reminds me of what KEXP uses. Maybe they do. It was cool to update in real-time, and if it published in real time too, then whoa, we’d be in like the curent decade with dynamic playslists! Couple little weird things with the entry but nothing big once I practice I’m sure.
So glad to be prepared so I could try to figure this out without also trying to figure out programming
Got a couple of nice calls from Ukiah and Redwood Valley. Super muggy here in the studio, and filled with evil mosquitos.

hey, that Nagisa Ni Te cut turned up on an old Geographic Records sampler (called something like “You don’t need to be ashamed of what you do in the dark”) back in 2003, I think. It was one of the standout songs then, too. http://www.furious.com/perfect/pastel.html
What a neat interview <3 Their passion and thoughts are infectious, and now I'm gonna have to look up some of the others they mentioned, darn
Thx Scott!
